Celeste Zellner, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Committed to building meaningful relationships with her patients, she believes listening, open communication, and collaboration are essential to achieving the best possible health outcomes.

Born in Germany and raised in a military family, Celeste spent much of her childhood moving throughout the United States before her family settled in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, after her father retired from the U.S. Army. Her upbringing instilled a strong appreciation for service, resilience, and community, values that continue to shape her personal life and approach to patient care.

Celeste earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi before earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Driven by a lifelong desire to care for others and make a meaningful difference in their lives, Celeste chose a career in healthcare because it lets her build lasting connections with patients and better understand their individual needs. As a nurse practitioner, she values the opportunity to spend quality time with patients, carefully listen to their concerns, and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and priorities.

Her clinical philosophy centers on individualized care rooted in evidence-based medicine. Celeste believes that every patient is unique and that successful treatment requires considering each person’s health goals, lifestyle, and overall quality of life. Through trust, education, and teamwork, she strives to empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare journey.

Celeste is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP), and LANP Northshore. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Rho Zeta Chapter.

Outside of healthcare, Celeste is deeply devoted to her family, community, and charitable causes. She is passionate about supporting veterans, individuals with special needs, and the autism community, as well as organizations that promote inclusion and create meaningful opportunities for people of all abilities. Two organizations that are especially close to her heart are the Wounded Warrior Project and New Heights Therapeutic Riding Center.

In her free time, Celeste enjoys photography, art, music, theatre, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
